Idaho’s Legislative District 21 Republicans elect Tyler Ricks chair, name convention delegates
Idaho District 21 Republicans Elect New Officers, Select Convention Delegates
Legislative District 21 Republicans gathered in Meridian on Thursday to reorganize, electing a new slate of officers and choosing delegates to represent the district at the upcoming Idaho Republican Party Summer Convention.
Tyler Ricks was elected chair of the district, with Curtis Egge serving as vice chair. Jamie Johnson was chosen as secretary and Bonnie Carter as treasurer. The district also selected three delegates and two alternates to attend the state party’s summer gathering.
Reorganization meetings are a routine part of Idaho Republican Party operations, allowing local districts to establish leadership and participate in broader party governance. District 21 covers portions of the Meridian area in Ada County, one of the fastest-growing legislative districts in the state.
Ricks can be reached at 208-810-0734 for additional information about the district’s new leadership or convention representation.
The Summer Convention will bring together delegates from Republican legislative districts across Idaho to conduct party business. Separately, the Idaho Republican Party has been engaged in post-election processes this cycle — including a post-election audit program selecting counties and precincts for review — as the party continues its focus on election integrity measures ahead of future contests.
